Lettering and thank you notes.

Hello. I have to admit that I'm not very good at trumpeting about myself, but I wanted to reveal that I was asked to do a little bit of lettering by Erin of design for mankind and it's in the new magazine. Blink and you might miss it, but I was chuffed to bits to be alongside some other really lovely hand lettering favourites of mine like Gemma Correll, Chris Paiscik, Lucy Rose and Will Bryant amongst others. Hooray.

And while I'm on the subject of hand lettering and myself, I've been thinking about a project called something like the "power of positive thinking" or "it's better to give than receive". Everyone who knows me knows that I am rubbish at writing thank you notes. I always mean to , but never do and then it gets to be so long after the fact that it would be embarrassing to send anything at all. So, for all of the people out there who inspire me both creatively and in the real world, I wanted to create a hand lettered thank you note which would be sent out with an additional note for the recipients to pass on to someone detailing what the thank you was for (i.e. thank you for teaching me to use chopsticks...) I'd love to then have people upload images of their thank yous to a blog etc. It is still a bit of a rough idea, but I wanted to know what you think and if any of you would be interested.

I've now got to get very busy for the upcoming show at Black Lark. Onwards and upwards!
